Allan has spent all his working life in the advertising business, which spans 45 years. He co-founded Davidson Pearce Berry and Spottiswood which became one of the most successful agencies in the UK during the late 60’s and early 70’s. In 1975 he founded the first independent media planning and buying company in the UK which he called The Media Business. In 1995 he took the company to the London Stock Market and in 1998 sold his group to Grey Advertising New York in order to create a truly global media organisation, MediaCom. Over the following 4 years MediaCom became the largest media company in the UK and number 5 in the world. Allan retired from the group in 2003 but soon joined forces with Peter Livesey and James Brenner to form Esprit Digital and truly take advertising into the 21st century.
Peter has been a leading figure in the digital screen market for over 20 years, designing and manufacturing bespoke LED systems for Governments, Local Authorities, Transport Networks and Retailers both in the UK and around the world. As soon as LCD technology became robust enough for commercial use, he co-founded Esprit Digital to promote it to his extensive client base and in particular to the fast-growing outdoor advertising sector. The success of the Viacom/CBS Digital Poster implementation on the London Underground has given him an excellent showcase for other cities globally.
James is an expert in screen technology and communications systems. After many years in the industry, he is excited at the possibilities this technology has opened up and the continuing stream of new uses and ideas which are forthcoming.
Richard is a co-founder of Digital View and is cited as an early visionary in the UK digital industry; as such he is responsible for much of Digital View's growth across Europe. In his role as Relationship Director he has facilitated a number of firsts in the Digital Media Network including the first national connected UK network for Camelot and the first UK network to expand into North America.
