EDM - Turning concepts into reality
Esprit Digital's visionary designers have the knowledge and imagination to create breath-taking digital screen displays - visions which are brought to life at EDM, the company's leading-edge manufacturing facility.
Based in High Wycombe, EDM houses the latest technologies which are used to build stunning displays that were once thought impossible and that rivals still struggle to emulate.
It is at EDM that Esprit Digital's ground-breaking concepts are crafted and moulded into workable displays that are designed to function at peak performance year after year.
The manufacturing and testing facilities at EDM have the capacity to assemble and fully test all types of displays, from low volume runs to the larger, repeatable quantities required by some customers.
The plant handles every aspect of the process, from initial concepts and development to manufacturing and testing to the highest Quality Standards.
Advanced CAD techniques are used at every stage, including mechanical design and styling through to PCB and circuit design - models which are rigorously tested using EDM's in-house Environmental Chamber.
Esprit Digital is committed to the highest Quality Standards and EDM has attained - and continues to maintain - ISO 9001 Certification. This internationally recognised standard covers everything from initial order through to design, manufacture, dispatch and maintenance and ensures that high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.
EDM's workforce includes experienced production staff who are trained in-house on all aspects of assembly display and highly skilled test technicians. The joint efforts of the production and testing teams ensure that every unit produced in the plant conforms to the exacting standards expected by the company and its customers.
The facility is responsible for producing Esprit Digital's entire product portfolio. This includes the flagship E5CII Digital Escalator Panels used in London Underground's award-winning digital advertising system, the high-profile Digital Bus Shelter screens for Adshel and Barcardi, as well as the new, large format 65" double-sided portrait Digital Advertising Posters which were launched to universal acclaim in July 2007.
As well as producing the units for Esprit Digital's existing range of products, EDM's dedicated staff are constantly developing innovative new products which in the near future will dazzle audiences with spectacular digital advertising displays in unusual and imaginative locations.
